Judges’ Prize in Sovereign Art Foundation Students’ Prize Hong Kong 2021

News date

Good News! Our alumna, Hsu Ching Wai Harue (許晴恵), just won the Judges’ Prize with her painting “100¥ per day” in the Sovereign Art Foundation Students’ Prize Hong Kong 2021! It was the highest honour in the Sovereign Art Foundation Students’ Prize and it was also the second award that Harue received with her amazing artwork (the first one was the Silver Award in the EDB’s Student Visual Arts Work 2020/2021). Harue will be receiving HK$8,000 for herself and HK$20,000 for A-School—the amount will all go to the Visual Art Scholarship for Excellence to award the outstanding artists in A-School!

Harue’s “100¥ per day” and our another alumnus Pang Ho Long’s “Left on read” were both sold in The Sovereign Art Foundation Students Prize Hong Kong 2021 Charity Auction, for HK$9,000 and HK$8,000 respectively. Half of the proceeds will go to the artists and the remaining will be donated to charitable programmes for disadvantaged children. Congratulations again! We are proud of your amazing work and the meaningful deed!
