Chinese Debating Team Advances to the Final

Our school's Chinese Debating Team defeated STFA Yung Yau College in the semi-final of the "Cultural Cup" Hong Kong Debate Competition (「文化盃」全港辯論比賽) recently, securing a unanimous score of 3 to 0. 8C LAM Ka Ching, Claudia was recognised the Best Speaker for her exceptional performance in this round.

The motion for this round was "legalizing basketball gambling will not help solve Hong Kong's financial problems". Our team's articulate reasoning and well-crafted arguments not only showcased their debating finesse but also highlighted their exceptional critical thinking skills and insightful analysis of pertinent societal issues. The adjudicators were captivated by the exceptional display of skills by our young debaters, with Claudia's poignant concluding speech earning well-deserved accolades.
