Celebrating Our Outstanding GCEAL Results
We are thrilled to announce that our GCEAL graduates have outdone themselves and have achieved extraordinary results in the Cambridge and Edexcel AL exams! We are immensely proud to share that an impressive 74% of our entries scored A or above, and an astonishing 43% of our students achieved the highest grade of A* (while A or A* in the UK is 27.2%), demonstrating their exceptional dedication and academic prowess. Seven high-flyers obtained 4A*, in which one got straight 5A*, accounting for 23% of the total graduates.
About 62% of the class got 3A or above, 40% got 2A* or above, and 30% got 3A* or above. Furthermore, over half of the students scored 8 or above in IELTS test, with an average score of 7.7. Making reference to the UK boarding school and UK State School league tables, A-School, given the performances of our GCE Upper class, ranks 13th among the boarding schools and ranks 26th among the state schools in the UK based on the percentage of top grades (A* - A) awarded to students.
Most of our students will embark on a new chapter of their study journey at the world-renowned top universities, including University of Oxford, Imperial College London, University College London, University of Edinburgh, University of Manchester, University of Melbourne, CUHK, HKUST, Australia’s Monash University etc. About 30% will admit to the UK's elite G5 universities. Wishing them happiness and scale new heights in their pursuit of further knowledge, setting a shining example for A-School’s younger learners.
