<<🏫 Promoting Peer Support: EDB "Peer Power" Student Gatekeeper Training Programme Sharing >>

News date

In the 2025/26 school year, we proudly nominated a group of exemplary student ambassadors to participate in the “Peer Power” Student Gatekeeper Training Programme organized by the Education Bureau. At HKBUAS, we have always placed strong emphasis on the physical and mental well-being of our students, striving to build a school culture rooted in care and support.

These dedicated ambassadors successfully completed two intensive training workshops, equipping them with valuable skills to support their peers. They then applied their learning during Thanksgiving Week this January, promoting mental health awareness and the spirit of the 4Rs Mental Health Charter through creative and interactive booths for both teachers and students.

On July 10, our ambassadors represented our school at the Education University of Hong Kong, taking part in the Programme’s Sharing Day and Showcase, organized by the Education Bureau. This event offered them a formal platform to present their achievements, exchange insights, and engage in meaningful dialogue with fellow students and educators from other schools.

We are immensely proud of our ambassadors for their dedication and leadership in championing peer support and mental health awareness. 👏
