An elite team of three students from Class 11A captured the spotlight with their innovative project, “Elder Eats”, at the “Make an Impact” Product Design Competition 2026, co‑organized by the EdUHK Library and the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Education (CEIE). With sharp problem‑solving and seamless teamwork, they stood out among many competitors to win the Overall Champion title! 🏆

During the project pitching session, Ng Wing Yu delivered an outstanding and highly persuasive presentation, earning her the Best Performance Award. 🏅

The competition challenged participants to design a physical product or digital solution that improves the daily lives of a specific community group, applying STEM skills to address at least one UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). “Elder Eats” rose to the challenge, offering a thoughtful solution to support the needs of underprivileged elderly. 

We are incredibly proud of our students’ remarkable achievements. They have truly embodied the spirit of technology for the community and demonstrated how innovation can make a meaningful impact. 👏🏻 

🚀 Upcoming Showcase at HKCEC: Support Our Champion Team!
The innovation journey continues! The team has been invited to present “Elder Eats” at the Teaching & Learning Expo this June.

They will be showcasing their award‑winning project and sharing their design philosophy—combining technology with humanistic care—with educators, industry professionals, and the wider public.

We warmly invite you to come and witness their creativity and dedication in person.
