🏊Making Waves: the 15th Aquatic Meet (Secondary Division)🏊🏻‍♀️

As we welcomed the new year in 2026, the excitement at the Shing Mun Valley Swimming Pool was palpable, as it hosted the 15th Aquatic Meet, embodying the spirit of competition and camaraderie. The event commenced with an energetic Opening Ceremony, highlighted by the stirring notes of the National Anthem and a heartfelt invocation. With a ceremonial horn sounded by our Vice Principals, the competition officially began!

Throughout the day, our dedicated athletes consistently exemplified excellence, pledging to give their best in every race. The atmosphere was electric as swimmers dove into intense contests, while their chambers cheered enthusiastically at every turn.👏🏻

As the final events concluded, the Prize Presentation and Closing Ceremony celebrated remarkable achievements and created lasting memories. Chamber Da Vinci emerged as the Overall Champion, proudly receiving the trophy from our Chief Principal, Dr. Benjamin Chan, MH, in the presence of our esteemed Guest of Honour, Mr. Siu Cheong Hung, former captain of the Hong Kong Men's Volleyball Team. His inspiring story of overcoming challenges while pursuing his dreams resonated deeply with all present.

Additionally, Yau Hoi Ting, an alumna from the Class of 2024 and former captain of our swimming team, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks. She reflected on how swimming has shaped her independence and character, inspiring us all to continue pushing our boundaries and achieve new milestones in the future!
