We are incredibly proud to announce that our talented team of four has won "The Art of Innovation Award"  at the JA x Starbucks "The Sip of Genius" Championship held on July 8!

Their masterpiece: "Work hard, egg tart!" 
Their journey began back in April when they submitted their creative beverage draft. Over the past few months, they had the invaluable opportunity to meet with professional Starbucks baristas, receive expert feedback, refine their recipe, and gain hands‑on practice making their drinks behind the bar. 
This innovative beverage fuses two of the most popular cafe orders in Hong Kong—egg tarts and coffee. It strikes a perfect balance between the rich bitterness of coffee and the creamy sweetness of egg tart. More than just a drink, it represents a brilliant culinary merge of East (the iconic HK egg tart) and West (classic coffee). 
During the Grand Finale, they pitched their concept and crafted their signature drinks live under a thrilling 10‑minute time limit. Their dedication, creativity, and presentation skills truly shone through.
