<<An Absolute Splashing Success: The 14th Aquatic Meet of our Secondary Division>>

The 14th Aquatic Meet was successfully held at the Ma On Shan Swimming Pool this year, commencing with a vibrant Opening Ceremony that featured the singing of the National Anthem and an inspiring invocation. With the ceremonial horn sounded by our Vice Principals, the Aquatic Meet officially commenced.
 
Committed to achieving excellence, all participants pledged their unwavering commitment to give their best in every competition. The atmosphere was electric. Each Chamber proudly displayed their flags on the spectators’ stand, demonstrating their team with enthusiastic cheers and chants. The pool resonated with energy as swimmers dove into fierce competitions across various races, with Chamber members passionately cheering them on every lap. The Prize Presentation and Closing Ceremony followed the completion of all events, where achievements were celebrated and memories cherished.
 
Chamber Columbus emerged victorious as the Overall Champion of the 14th Aquatic Meet, receiving the trophy from Dr. Chan Wai Kai, Benjamin, MH, our Chief Principal and Ms. Choi Yan Yin Hilda as our Guest of Honour. Ms. Choi, as the current athlete of the Hong Kong Triathlon National Squad and the champion of the Half Marathon in the Hong Kong Marathon 2024, shared valuable insights on mental resilience from her experiences. She inspired students to confront, accept and let-go of negative emotions, encouraging them to focus on the present moment, nurture their passions, and fearlessly pursue their aspirations.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our guests, teachers and student helpers whose contributions were vital in making the 14th Aquatic Meet a resounding success. We eagerly anticipate our students continuing to challenge themselves, striving to surpass their current achievements and reach new heights in the future!
