🌟Hymn Sharing Assembly—Seeking the True Meaning of Christmas🌟

During the Christmas season, the school's Christianity Development Team, in collaboration with the Music Department, transformed the annual Christmas program. In response to the devastating Tai Po fire, the emphasis shifted from competition to contemplation, offering a time for collective reflection on the true meaning of Christmas.
 

The Handbell Team performed Rondo Passacaglia by Cynthia Dobrinski, while the Treble Choir presented The Lily and the Rose by Bob Chilcott. Together, they created a peaceful and soothing atmosphere throughout the school. Our dedicated students from classes 7A, 7C, 8E, 9A, 9B and 9E took the stage, sharing messages of love, compassion and gratitude through their heartfelt performances.
 

The Praise Team from Christian Disciples, guided by the Christian Team and tutors from City One Baptist Church, led a worship session centered on a Christmas message. This worship embraced the season’s values—sacrificial love, compassion, reaching out to care for our neighbors in need, and maintaining positivity and hope even in the face of complex realities. Pastor Rex shared key takeaways, emphasizing the importance of restoring the relationship between God and humankind and recognizing Jesus as the healer of wounds and deliverer from misery. We were reminded once again that Christmas is not only a celebration but also a season of renewal, mercy and hope.
