Silver Prize in 2022-2023 Youth Impact Award 2.0 Competition

News date

Despite being the youngest team among all the participants, four of our G9 students astoundingly delivered their final presentation last Saturday and were bestowed with the distinguished Silver Prize in the esteemed "2022-2023 Youth Impact Award 2.0 Competition 感創敢為2.0 — 青年社會創新服務獎”!

Over the course of an entire year, our students demonstrated exceptional resilience and creativity. Their project aimed to bridge the generation gap between the elderly and the youth, and they ingeniously crafted a guided tour centred around the theme of "LOVE STORY." This concept was conceived through extensive engagement with the elderly, during which they attentively listened to their stories and sought their valuable feedback. Even during the summer vacation, they extended a heartfelt invitation to the elderly, inviting them to The Peak to bring their visionary ideas to life. Together, they diligently executed the project, working harmoniously towards their shared vision. The result of their efforts was nothing short of remarkable.

Undeterred by the fact that our student had no prior experience in such competition, they embraced the challenge head-on, displaying a level of maturity and resilience beyond their years. They were up against formidable and experienced opponents, and astounded the judges and audience with their final presentation, which took place last Saturday. Their exceptional performance earned them the distinguished Silver Prize, a testament to their talent, hard work, and unwavering support from their mentors and A-School!
