A-School Student Research Team is Breaking New Ground

News date

We are proud to announce that our student research project ("GoldIn") has been awarded the First Prize in the 24th Hong Kong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition in the Secondary School Research and Invention (Senior Secondary) Biology and Health category. Big congratulations to our students 11C LIN Wing Tung Melody, 11D CHEUNG Kwan Chiu Alfred and 11E WONG Kai Chung Noah, the inventors and innovators, who marked another breakthrough in our STEAM education.

The competition is organized by the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association, commissioned by the Education Bureau and co-organized by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation. Since its launch in 1997, the Hong Kong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition has been the largest and most popular STEAM competition in Hong Kong. Nearly 400 schools participated last year and the number of entries had reached 4,000.

Our students are also invited to represent Hong Kong to participate in the national STEAM competition. Next, we will be going across the local region boundary and embarking on the national journey. Let’s look forward to more exciting news in the coming updates!
