Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area One-day Study Tour

G9 and 10 students joined the Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao Greater Bay Area One-day Study Tour on November 17.

Students took the high-speed train travelling through Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou to experience the convenience of the high-speed railway. They first visited the Exhibition of the 40th Anniversary on the Guangdong’s Reform and Opening-up at the Shenzhen Industrial Museum to learn the achievements and valuable experiences of Guangdong's reform and opening up, followed by the trip to the Cisco Smart City in Guangzhou to study the latest development of town planning.  Finally, they went to Bao Mo Garden in Panyu, a place where they could gain a deeper understanding of the culture of Qing Dynasty and the uniqueness of Lingnan architecture.

The population of the Greater Bay Area is 66 million. The railway, highways, aviation and navigation networks in the area have been improved a lot. Through this study tour, students enhanced their understanding of the development of the Greater Bay Area and the national plan.
