Meet Alfred Cheung, Melody Lin, Ethan Ip, and Clement Kwok, a group of extraordinary talents whose lives have been intertwined since their primary school days at A-School, united by their unwavering passion for debate.
Together, they accomplished groundbreaking success in the debating community, capturing the championship title not once, but twice at the illustrious Sing Tao Inter-school Debating Competition! Their triumphs in the 37th and 38th editions of this prestigious tournament will forever be etched in the annals of Hong Kong's debating history.
Today, poised at the gateway of boundless future prospects, these four extraordinary individuals have achieved success in different fields, each shining brightly in their unique way.
First and foremost, let's applaud Alfred Cheung, whose academic brilliance knows no bounds. With an exceptional HKDSE result in 7 subjects, all awarded the highest grade of 5**, Alfred will pursue his passion for physics at the renowned University of Oxford. In addition, Alfred and his team previously received the First Prize in the 24th Hong Kong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition for their research project, GoldIn, which also subsequently won the Bronze Award in the 2023 Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions. We are sure that Alfred will leave an indelible mark on the scientific world, pushing the boundaries of human knowledge.
Next, let us acknowledge Melody Lin, whose steadfast dedication has earned her an unconditional offer from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong.
