Art Without Borders: An Immersive Journey Through the Venice Biennale
We are proud to share that a group of our secondary school art students has just returned from an art exchange trip to Italy, where they experienced the Venice Biennale — one of the most important events in the global art world.
The highlight of the trip was having Angel Hui, one of the artists representing Hong Kong at this year’s Biennale, personally guide our students through the exhibition “Fermata: Hong Kong in Venice” and share insights into her creative process. Through her perspective, students gained a deeper understanding of how contemporary art engages with the world, while discovering Hong Kong’s distinctive voice on the international stage.
This exchange broadened our students’ artistic horizons and offered them a truly meaningful learning experience.
We are also delighted to announce that Angel Hui will join our school as Artist-in-Residence for the coming year, working closely with our students on a series of in-depth art projects that bring the spirit of Venice back into everyday campus life.
We are deeply grateful for this invaluable opportunity and look forward to sharing our students’ creative journey in the year ahead.
