PBL – Exploring Sustainability and Multiculturalism: A Singapore Adventure!

News date

Our Grade 5 and 6 students recently ventured to Singapore to deepen their understanding of sustainable practices, environmental conservation, and multiculturalism. Highlights included a visit to Marina Barrage, where they learned about water conservation and the importance of creating renewable and sustainable resources. Our students also paid a visit to an old age home, where they prepared some games and special performances for the elderly residents, fostering community connections and deeper understanding of their needs.💧

In addition, students participated in an eco workshop focused on upcycling plastics, discovering innovative ways to repurpose materials. Their visit to the Singapore City Gallery provided valuable insights into urban sustainability initiatives, motivating them to bring these lessons back to their own communities and promote positive change.❤️

As part of our P-Term (June 9 – July 5, 2025), this excursion offers students the chance to participate in hands-on, inquiry-driven learning, enhancing their critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills. Students will also have opportunities to explore both local and international excursions, broadening their perspectives.🎉
