A-School’s First Alumni Manager Elected

The school welcomed its first-ever Alumni Manager since establishment! 2012 alumnus WONG Long Hin Nichol was elected to be a member of the School Management Committee and has been registered by the Education Bureau to help map out the strategic plan for school development with the other school managers during his two-year term of office from March 3, 2023, to March 1, 2025.

Graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong for his bachelor's and master's degrees, Nichol Wong is a senior research assistant in the University of Hong Kong specialising in timber and digital architecture. His school management-related experiences include being the President of the Architectural Society and Bachelor's Student Representative in the School of Architecture. During his master's study, he was selected as the Master's Student Representative to participate in the School of Architecture board meetings, as President of the Graduation Show Committee, as well as the resident tutor of Madam SH Ho hostel. He is now an executive committee member of The Chinese University Architecture Alumni Association (CUAAA).

Nichol Wong joined the Harbourfront Public Furniture Competition organised by the Development Bureau in 2020. His work “Victoria Vessel” was selected for the award list and his public furniture was built near Wan Chai Ferry Terminal in early 2021.
