HKBUAS Master Class: AI Sharing by Professor Loh Po-Shen

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming various aspects of our lives, from communication and transportation to healthcare, entertainment and education.  As we witness its emergence, it is essential to contemplate how we can effectively navigate and thrive in this Age of AI.

At HKBUAS, we believe in preparing our students not just for the present, but also for the future.  With AI playing an increasingly significant role in society, understanding its implications and how to survive in the Age of AI becomes crucial for both students and parents.

In light of this, we are excited to announce that we have invited Professor Loh Po-Shen to hold an AI sharing session at our school. Professor Loh is an American mathematician and the former national coach of the United States’ International Mathematical Olympiad Team for over a decade. He has been teaching at Carnegie Mellon University since 2010 and has made significant achievements and contributions in mathematics and education.  Professor Loh is also a tech entrepreneur and passionate in exploring the growing role of AI in education and AI’s importance on the world.                            

Parents from all grades are cordially invited to equip yourself with the knowledge and skills to adapt and thrive in an AI-driven world.  Details are as follows:

Time:  10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Venue:  Prof. Frank Fu Hoo Kin Lecture Theatre, HKBUAS

Topic:  How to Survive in the Age of AI

The lecture will be conducted in English and Mandarin.
