Golden Ticket to Grand Final - The 38th Sing Tao Inter-School Debating Competition

We are thrilled to announce our victory in the semi-finals of the 38th Sing Tao Inter-School Debating Competition! Our team of debaters, Clement Kwok and Ethan Ip from 12E, and Tang Hau In from 10B, brought us a glorious triumph by defeating Diocesan Boys' School in one of the toughest matches in recent years.

Their hard work, dedication, and remarkable debating skills have brought us one step closer to defending our championship title. To say that the journey to the Grand Final is a miracle would be an understatement, as it is a remarkable achievement to have qualified for the Grand Final for the second consecutive year, something that not many schools in Hong Kong have accomplished. We still vividly remember the fierce matches we contested with other top-ranked schools since our debut in the competition in 2021, and most of them were the veteran teams and crowned the champion in the past. While the debate on stage is undoubtedly important, the friendships our debaters have formed offstage with students from other schools are what matter the most. As the defending champion, we remain humbled by the opportunity to compete with such esteemed schools and are determined to maintain our dominance. The Grand Final will take place on 12 May 2023 at Queen Elizabeth Stadium, where we will face our opponent, PLK Centenary Li Shiu Chung Memorial College.
