✨A-School WeProud Dress Casual Day X HOT DOG Day🌭

Our school community came together on 18 March 2026 for a vibrant celebration of unity and inclusion. This year, we combined our “WeProud Dress Casual Day 2026” with our signature “HOT DOG Day” (Hit Out The Discrimination Of our Generation) to promote the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (IDERD).

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this day a success—especially the PTA, as well as our dedicated teachers and enthusiastic students. 👏🏻

Under the theme “Unity in Diversity: Celebrating Global Cultures,” our atrium was transformed into a lively “global village”. 🌎It was truly heartening to see our campus filled with students wearing colorful casual outfits and traditional costumes from China, Holland, Korea and Pakistan, standing together to celebrate our diverse backgrounds.

During lunch hour, students took part in a variety of engaging cultural experiences:

• Cultural Discovery: Students explored Korean food culture, tried Chinese paper-cutting, and received beautiful designs at the Pakistan hand-painting booth.

• Global Rhythms: At “The Global Jam Without Borders” booth, students experienced musical instruments from around the world.
• Building Connections: The “Top Your Dog – The Garnishes of Friendship” game booth was a big hit, helping students make new friends and strengthen social cohesion.
• Capturing Memories: Students enjoyed themed photo opportunities, including a special stop at the Holland photo booth.
• A Pledge for the Future: Many students visited the signing booth to pledge their personal commitment to standing against racial discrimination.

This event holds deep significance for our inclusive school. With students and staff from many different backgrounds, these activities created a meaningful space beyond the classroom—helping everyone better appreciate the diverse cultures within our community. Through food, art and music, we moved one step closer to ensuring every member of our school feels seen, respected and proud of their heritage. Together, we continue to strengthen the “WeProud” spirit!🤝❤️‍🔥
