From freezing winds on the hillside to long nights in flapping tents, this year’s day camp and two overnight camps became a training ground where Excel33P members turned trials into courage and challenges into unforgettable memories. 

In the day camp, members hiked up to Ngong Ping on Ma On Shan under sharp wind, with backpacks that seemed to grow heavier at every step. Yet the hillside soon came alive with colour: teachers and students racing across the grass, breathless with laughter, while Excel33p members picked up rubbish along the way. “Leave No Trace” was no longer just a slogan – it became muddy shoes, full rubbish bags, and the joy of giving something back to the mountain. 🌿

During the second camp, the smell of smoke and simple cooking filled the air as students prepared dinner for their groups. The food wasn’t perfect, but the pride was real. That night, wind and rain hammered the tents, yet by morning, tired faces had turned into smiles of “We made it through together.” They rolled up their sleeves again – sawing wood, removing pests, and painting at the farm – turning hard work into dirty hands, aching arms, and big, satisfied grins. Students who were once unused to nature were now laughing and asking, “Can we take this little bug home as a souvenir?” 🪵🐛🏕️

In the third camp, they crossed hilltops on Lantau Island and watched the sun rise above a sea of clouds. Quietly, they read letters from home, each message pouring into their hearts like warm light. 🌤️💌 Through these moments, Excel33P is learning that real leadership starts small — one brave step, one caring act, one warm heart at a time. 👣💖
