<<🔎Discovering Unsung Neighbour Heroes: G1 PBL Celebrates Community Professionals>>

Our curious Grade 1 students are exploring the theme “Unsung Neighbour Heroes”, celebrating the everyday heroes in our community who quietly work behind the scenes to keep us safe and healthy!

A heartfelt thank you to all our guest speakers — and especially our dedicated professional parents — for generously volunteering their time and expertise to inspire and enrich our PBL programme for our youngest learners. 💛 

One big question our little ones are wondering:

✈️ “How does the pilot know their route when they can’t actually see it?” 
To help answer this and many more wonders, we were delighted to welcome Air Traffic Control Officers, who explained how they guide planes safely using radar, advanced technology, and clear communication — the invisible heroes of the skies! 

🚆 We also had MTR Railway Officers share how they ensure our trains run smoothly and on time every day. 

💊 A Chinese Herbal Doctor who introduced the classic diagnostic approach of 望聞問切 and demonstrated hands-on practices including acupuncture (針灸), cupping (拔罐), and moxibustion (艾灸). 

🦷 A Dentist also shared valuable knowledge on oral health, dental care, and how everyday habits contribute to overall well-being. 

These inspiring sessions brought the PBL project to life. Our Grade 1 students gained real insights into different professions, learned about teamwork, responsibility, service to others, and the wisdom of both traditional and modern healthcare.
