恭喜本校九年級跳級生陳心信同學在第28屆香港青少年科技創新大賽－中學研究及發明（初中電腦及資訊科技）中榮獲銀獎！👏🏻 她的作品 「LLM-Assisted Authentication and Fraud Detection」探討如何運用大型語言模型（LLMs）打造一個既方便用戶又安全的網路系統。

We’re proud to share that Grade 9 CHAN Shum Shun Emunah, our Grade Skipper, received a Silver Award in the 28th Hong Kong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition under Secondary School Research & Invention (Junior Computer and Information Technology), organized by the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association.👏🏻

Her project, “LLM-Assisted Authentication and Fraud Detection”, explores how large language models (LLMs) can support more user-friendly and adaptive cybersecurity systems. It focuses on two key challenges: making authentication easier for everyday users by evaluating responses based on meaning rather than exact wording, and improving scam detection so it can adapt to evolving threats. By combining LLMs with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), her system can recognize new scam patterns simply by adding new examples—without retraining. 

Emunah’s work has also been recognized in other science and innovation competitions, including the “CityUHK Science Patent Challenge 2025-26” and the Hong Kong Science & Technology Innovation Competition, with evaluation by researchers and professionals in computer science and artificial intelligence. As reflected by Emunah, “This experience has strengthened my interest in developing human-aligned, secure, and practical AI systems, and it has motivated me to continue pursuing research to better understand and apply AI to real-world problems, so as to make people’s lives easier.”
