Advancing Knowledge: Students Explore Cutting-Edge Research at CUHK

On March 7, 2026, a group of our senior students embarked on an enriching scientific journey as part of the "Exploring New Horizons 2026" program, a significant initiative by the Council of the Hong Kong Laureate Forum. This program immerses students in cutting-edge research and state-of-the-art facilities.

During this particular session, our students had the privilege of visiting the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, located within Prince of Wales Hospital. They gained invaluable hands-on experience with advanced ultrasound scanning technology and motion-capture equipment while exploring their applications in sports medicine.

Hosted by leading scientists, this opportunity significantly deepened their understanding of life sciences and medicine. The students engaged in discussions about the latest advancements and their practical applications in healthcare. This immersive experience inspired many to consider careers in medical research and related fields, highlighting the crucial role of innovation in improving patient outcomes.
