On to the Semi-finals - 40th Sing Tao Inter-school Debating Competition

Our English Debating Team defeated St. Joseph College last Saturday in the quarter-finals of the 40th Sing Tao Inter-school Debating Competition. We have now qualified for the semi-finals for four consecutive years.

The motion for this round was – “The development of Airport City can boost Hong Kong's economy”. As side proposition, our challenge this time was to utilise foreign models and theories to argue that the project would be successful, given that future data is inaccessible.

Our debaters, 12D TANG Hau In, 12E LI Mischa Keona and 11A LEE Yan Wah, delivered an exceptional performance and fought hard for a ticket to the semi-finals. Our next debate will be on 29 March. Let's support our debaters and look forward to more achievements!
