A New School Year Begins!
On the exciting inaugural day of the new academic year, which fell on September 2, enthusiastic students eagerly returned to their classrooms after a rejuvenating summer break. The corridors hummed with anticipation and joy as companions rejoined!
The day kicked off with a solemn Whole-School Flag Raising Ceremony, paving the way for the Reopening Ceremony graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. William Wong Kam-fai, MH, as our Guest of Honor. His distinguished presence, alongside the inspiring speech delivered by our Chief Principal Dr. Benjamin Chan, MH, infused the atmosphere with a sense of gravitas and inspiration. The impactful speeches by Prof. Wong and Dr. Chan resonated with profound wisdom, steering the school community towards a common goal of excellence. Furthermore, we were honored by the attendance of our School Supervisor, prof. Frank Fu, whose support and guidance have been invaluable to our academic community.
Our Chief Principal warmly welcomed all students and teachers, introducing the Management Team while embracing both familiar and new faces in our academic family. This was followed by a significant celebration of our students' achievements from the previous year. Our sincere gratitude extends to our benevolent benefactors—Mr. Raymond Kwok, Mr. Benny Wong, Ir Prof. Alan Lam, JP, Madam Daphne Lam, Mr. Ivan Wong, JP, Mr. Teny Wu, Miss Carmen Choi, Mr. Kenji Ng and Mr. Dasson Chan (2023 Alumni)—whose steadfast support has been instrumental in nurturing our students and enriching our campus environment.
Transitioning to Wednesday, September 4, the school gathered for the inaugural Morning Assembly (A-Assembly) and gospel sharing, setting a spirited tone for the academic journey that lay ahead. As we embark on this fresh scholastic chapter, let us embrace challenges with determination and commitment, guided by the compass of our core values. Together, we shall light the way to success, nurturing a culture of excellence across all our pursuits!
