Creativity Sparked & Recognised: BETT Show 2025

News date

Two of the brilliant young minds from our Secondary Division, LAI Hei Yan Joanne from Grade 8 and CHANG Hoi Fung Nathan from Grade 11, together with three students from our Primary Division, travelled to the UK to participate in the BETT Show this year. They presented their STEAM projects with great enthusiasm to an international audience of education leaders, teachers and innovators during the Show. One of the highlights of their UK tour was the visit to the London office of Goodnotes, where they observed innovative practices in action. The training workshop at Goodnotes offered our students a valuable hands-on learning experience in developing digital note-taking skills, enhancing their education by fostering real-time sharing and collaboration. Besides, they also explored prominent tourist attractions and museums, which broadened their horizons through enriching cultural experiences.

Johanne's project, "Elder Vision" utilizes face recognition technology to identify elderly emotions and incorporates health kit features to monitor blood pressure, enabling proactive measures against long-term illnesses.

Nathan's project, "SageSmart" aims to assist elderly individuals living alone. He developed a mobile application integrated with health kit functionalities to track the health status of the elderly, facilitating early detection of potential health issues.
