🎉Language Week 2024-25: A Huge Success!🎉

We’re excited to share that Language Week 2024-25 has officially concluded, and it was an amazing celebration of our diverse languages and cultures!

This year’s theme, Cultural Festivals and Celebrations, beautifully encapsulated the vibrant diversity of languages and cultures within our community. One of the standout features of this week was the involvement of several external organisations, which created an immersive and authentic language environment for our students—an essential element for effective language learning.

🚀 Highlights of the Week:

- Goethe-Institut Hong Kong brought us delicious German traditions through culinary experiences! 🇩🇪

- The French Consulate immersed us in authentic French culture. 🇫🇷

- Hong Kong Wakyo Kai showcased the beauty of Japanese culture with a traditional costume exhibition and origami workshop! 🇯🇵

- Spanish World engaged our students with interactive activities and performances! 🇪🇸

- Dove Tales Hong Kong dazzled us with a fabulous performance of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night’s Dream! 🎭

At A-School, our commitment is to equip students with the linguistic and cultural proficiencies crucial for success in our interconnected world. In addition to English and Chinese, our curriculum includes a rich variety of Third Language options for Grades 5 to 8, encompassing an Asian Language (Japanese) and three European Languages (French, German, and Spanish).

A special acknowledgment goes out to our devoted teachers who worked tirelessly with the students to crafting engaging materials for these exhibitions, creating lasting memories for all members of A-School! Let’s keep nurturing our students’ love for languages and cultures all year round! 💖📚
