2026-2027 Grade One Admission
For parents who would like to apply for a Grade 1 place for their child in the academic year 2026-2027, please complete the online application form through the link below and submit the required documents simultaneously.

*In case of any unpredictable events that affect the Grade One Admission Application Schedule, the school will inform parents through the registered email or SMS.
Interview Content:
There will be individual interviews in the Frist Round of Interviews in October.
We are looking for candidates with
- Strong social and communication skills
- Effective self-management abilities
- Age-appropriate language proficiency
- A curiosity and eagerness to learn
Eligible families will be invited for the Second Round of Interviews. In this round, the focus will be on the parent-child relationship, parental support and alignment with A-School vision.
NOTE:
- There is a 15% upper limit for the admission of Shatin residents.
- As a through-train Primary to Secondary school, we do not provide internal examinations for the purpose of the Hong Kong Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) process.

Scholarship / Financial Assistance
Needy students, including those from families receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance and those receiving financial assistance provided by the Student Finance Office, could apply and be eligible for school fee remission. Besides, we welcome students who have noteworthy performance in sports, music, performing arts, visual arts, services, leadership or academic excellence to apply for our scholarship. The application forms and details of our Scholarship and Financial Assistance Schemes can be found on our school website (http://www.hkbuas.edu.hk). Hard copies of application forms and related information are also available at our school office. If you would like to apply for your child, please submit the application form and other related documents on the day of registration.

Thank you to all parents for your enthusiastic support of the “2026–2027 Grade One Admission Briefing cum Open House.” In light of the school’s recent discovery of unofficial ticket scalping activities, the following arrangements have been implemented:
- Due to the overwhelming interest, the school has increased event capacity. Additional tickets will be allocated to families on the waiting list via a randomized lottery. Selected families will be notified accordingly.
- Key information shared during the event will be made available on the school website afterwards. Families who were unable to obtain tickets may refer to these materials for reference.
- Families who have successfully registered are reminded to attend the event at the designated timeslot stated on their valid ticket.
We appreciate the continued support and understanding of our parent community while the arrangements for this event may not align perfectly with the expectations of every family. The school remains committed to reviewing and refining its arrangements to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all participants.

Tickets for the 2026-2027 Grade One Admission Briefing cum Open House are exclusively for parents who have successfully registered through the online registration system. The school does not permit the sale or resale of tickets, and any monetary transactions related to selling or reselling the tickets. We also bear no responsibility for any purchased tickets via any channels.
Please note that most of the information presented during the briefing session will be made available on the school’s website following the event. Parents are encouraged to learn more about our school through our official website and publications.

1st session: 10 May 2025 (Saturday) 09:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (Time of Briefing Session: 09:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.)
2nd session: 10 May 2025 (Saturday) 01:30 p.m. – 03:30 p.m. (Time of Briefing Session: 01:30 p.m. – 02:45 p.m.)
Reservation for Grade One Admission Briefing cum Open House:
Reservation is available online on a first-come-first-served basis from 10:00 a.m. on 9 April 2025 (Wednesday).
Attention:
- Each family can only register for 1 session. Please select the number of attendees during registration. (Maximum attendees for each registered family: 2 adults + 1 student)
- These two identical briefings are for K2/N3 parents only. To ensure that each group of families has an opportunity to receive admissions information, only 1 parent from each registered family can attend the briefing session, and the rest of the family members can visit the booths freely.
- The quota would normally be filled-up within the first hour due to overwhelming responses. There is a possibility that you might experience difficulties in accessing the online system. Please be patient and avoid calling the school office. Online reservation will be closed once the quota is full.
