Student Management and Support

Student Growth
The Student Development Team, with the professional support of our registered nurse, educational psychologist and social worker, helps to ensure the physical, mental and social needs of students are well taken care of. Weekly assemblies and homeroom periods are held to cultivate positive values and attitudes concerning personal growth, moral and civic education, physical and mental health. Deep Thought Time is scheduled at the end of each week for students to reflect on their performance and school life.

Moral and Civic Development
Moral and civic development is also highly valued in A-School. Different topics such as personal growth, civil rights and responsibilities, physical and mental health are covered in mentor time and assemblies so as to develop students’ sense of responsibility and courtesy. Special programmes and excursions are organised every year, including celebrity talks, cleaning competition and research excursion of minority groups in China, for students to learn the positive values and attitudes by experience.

Spiritual Nourishment

Efforts are made in spiritual nourishment. Religious sharing is held every Monday to nurture students’ spiritual growth according to Bible’s teaching. Students may join different religious activities such as Christian Fellowship and Christian Disciples to strengthen their religious understanding and commitment. In addition, service trips, Gospel Week and hymn-singing competition are held every year to spread the Gospel messages, and instil positive life values and attitudes.
